We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Production Designer to enhance our production practices and processes, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. As a design leader, you will play a key role in partnering with our design teams to deliver exceptional experiences for both Hosts and Guests. This is a remote-based position, offering a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $174,000 - $209,000 USD.
About the Role
As a Lead Production Designer, you will be responsible for refining production practices, managing and supporting our design systems and documentation, creating detailed specs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver polished designs. You will contribute to the delivery of medium to large-scale projects, develop pixel-perfect designs, and design for different platforms, including iOS, Android, web, and mobile web.
Responsibilities
- Lead medium to large-scale projects and develop pixel-perfect designs for product implementation
- Design for different platforms, including iOS, Android, web, and mobile web
- Create, maintain, and distribute easy-to-use templates for reusable, systematic design
- Produce clear design specs and redlines referencing our design language system (DLS)
- Partner with engineers to ensure design parity and compliance with our design system
- Document design processes and workflows, and contribute to the creation of documentation and maintenance
Requirements
- 8+ years of Production Design experience in a product and/or marketing setting
- Expert creative and technical problem solver with a fanatical attention to detail
- Experience with asset optimization for various platforms and mediums
- Mastery of Figma, including components, shared libraries, and branching
- Self-directed, solution-oriented, and ability to work autonomously
- Proven cross-functional skills and experience in stakeholder management
- Proficiency in design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator
