Arnold & Porter is a law firm seeking a Legal Resource Assistant for their Denver office. The role involves assisting attorneys with administrative tasks, managing legal documents, and coordinating communication and schedules within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Skillfully preparing, editing, and proofreading legal documents and emails Assisting in all facets of trials, depositions, client meetings, and case strategy meetings; organizing exhibits, notebooks, charts, graphs, memorandums, and other legal documents as well as visual aids for same Diligently managing attorneys’ Outlook calendars and arranging conference/video conference calls, virtual meetings on platforms such as Zoom and bolthires Teams Tracking, entering, and processing expenses and invoices through Chrome River Efficiently coordinating and scheduling attorney travel Organizing, routing, and archiving incoming mail Maintaining an awareness of attorneys' caseloads and statuses Establishing and maintaining attorneys' files in electronic and hard copy format Maintaining attorneys’ state and federal court admissions and renewals current Working with bolthires Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other firm applications, as necessary, to complete specific assignments Onboarding and managing new clients and matters Reviewing, editing, and finalizing firm invoices to clients Collaborating with accounting and e-billing teams to initiate and maintain proper client billing procedures Skills A minimum of a high school diploma Excellent organizational and communications skills, both oral and written Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, various databases, and Internet research skills Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously Ability to prioritize and manage time appropriately A proficiency with standard office procedures working in a team/collaborative environment Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary A four-year or two-year degree Benefits Discretionary bonus annually Company Overview Arnold & Porter combines sophisticated regulatory, litigation, and transactional capabilities to resolve clients’ most complex issues.
