What You’ll Do As a key member of our engineering team, you will: Lead civil and environmental engineering projects from concept through construction Oversee design development, including plans, drawings, reports, and permitting Ensure quality and technical excellence across all deliverables Collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff Conduct field visits and provide construction oversight Navigate and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s a plus) Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Idaho (multi-state licensure is a bonus) 5+ years of experience in design and construction oversight Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools Strong communication and leadership skills Experience with permitting and environmental compliance Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites Bonus Points If You Have Experience working with municipalities or public agencies Familiarity with NEPA, SWPPP, NPDES, or related frameworks Project management certification or formal training A passion for mentoring and team development Why Alta?
