Why arenaflex?

At arenaflex, we are redefining the insurance experience for millions of customers across the United States. Our mission is simple: provide transparent, affordable, and personalized insurance solutions that empower people to live their lives with confidence. As a fast‑growing leader in the insurance technology space, arenaflex blends cutting‑edge data analytics, an intuitive digital platform, and a passionate team of professionals who truly care about the people they serve.

Located in sunny Santa Ana, California, our regional hub is a vibrant, collaborative environment where innovation meets community focus. Whether you’re a seasoned sales veteran, an enthusiastic customer‑service champion, or a bilingual professional looking to make a difference, arenaflex offers a career path that rewards ambition, curiosity, and genuine empathy.

Position Overview

The Licensed Sales & Customer Service Representative at arenaflex is the front‑line ambassador who bridges the gap between our dynamic product portfolio and the diverse needs of our customers. In this dual‑role, you will not only guide prospects through the insurance purchase journey but also nurture ongoing relationships, ensuring that each policyholder feels heard, valued, and protected.

Because insurance can be complex, we rely on team members who can translate intricate policy details into clear, actionable information—especially for our bilingual clientele. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, love solving problems, and possess a natural talent for building trust, you’ll find this role both challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction & Relationship Building – Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chat messages. Establish rapport, understand each customer’s unique circumstances, and recommend the most suitable insurance solutions.

  • Sales Enablement – Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts. Present tailored quotes, explain coverage options, and close sales while adhering to compliance and licensing regulations.

  • Policy Administration – Process new applications, amendments, renewals, and cancellations accurately in our CRM and underwriting systems. Ensure all documentation meets state and federal standards.

  • Bilingual Support – Provide fluent communication in both English and Spanish, translating policy language, answering questions, and resolving issues for Spanish‑speaking clients.

  • Problem Solving & Issue Resolution – Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, claim status inquiries, and service complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Compliance & Licensing Management – Maintain an active insurance license for the state of California, complete required continuing education, and stay current on industry regulations.

  • Team Collaboration – Work closely with underwriting, claims, marketing, and technology teams to provide feedback from the field, contribute to product enhancements, and share best practices.

  • Performance Tracking – Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, call quality metrics, and customer satisfaction scores. Document activity and outcomes in the CRM for transparent reporting.

Essential Qualifications

  • Licensure – Active California Insurance License (Property & Casualty) or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.

  • Education – High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field preferred.

  • Experience – Minimum 2 years of proven sales, customer‑service, or insurance experience, preferably in a high‑volume call‑center environment.

  • Bilingual Proficiency – Fluency in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) is strongly preferred.

  • Communication Skills – Exceptional verbal and written abilities, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Technology Savvy – Comfortable using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data entry tools.

  • Interpersonal Traits – Empathetic, patient, resilient under pressure, and able to manage multiple conversations simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Previous experience selling auto, home, or health insurance products.

  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving high customer‑satisfaction scores.

  • Familiarity with insurance rate‑setting software and underwriting guidelines.

  • Certification in conflict resolution or customer experience management.

  • Knowledge of California insurance regulations, including AB 2034 and Proposition 103.

  • Ability to conduct virtual presentations and webinars for group policy sales.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Active Listening – Capture the nuance of each customer’s needs to tailor solutions effectively.

  • Persuasive Selling – Use consultative techniques to guide prospects toward informed purchasing decisions.

  • Analytical Thinking – Evaluate risk factors, policy limits, and pricing structures to recommend optimal coverage.

  • Time Management – Prioritize a high volume of inbound/outbound interactions while meeting strict SLA targets.

  • Adaptability – Quickly adjust to new product launches, regulatory changes, and evolving market conditions.

  • Team Orientation – Share insights, mentor junior reps, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

At arenaflex, talent development is a strategic priority. As a Licensed Sales & Customer Service Representative, you will have access to:

  • Mentorship & Coaching – Pairing with senior sales leaders who will guide your professional trajectory and help you refine your skill set.

  • Certification Support – Financial assistance for continuing education, licensing renewals, and industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, CLU).

  • Career Pathways – Opportunities to advance into Senior Sales Consultant, Team Lead, Operations Supervisor, or even Product Management roles within the broader arenaflex organization.

  • Cross‑Functional Exposure – Rotations with underwriting, claims, and digital product teams to broaden your understanding of the end‑to‑end insurance lifecycle.
