Rates.ca is a digital life brokerage looking to grow, and they are seeking a motivated Life Insurance Advisor to work with qualified leads. The role involves identifying customer insurance needs, delivering solutions, and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
- Manage the sales cycle from end-to-end
- Provide advice and quotes which ensure the most appropriate product is offered
- Assess risks, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare documentation
- Maintain knowledge of current underwriting rules, product features and other industry changes
- Deliver a high level of friendly, professional service
- Work in a team, collaborating with various stakeholders
- Complete administrative duties as required, ensuring complete and adequate documentation for all customer policies and files
- Service policies when needed
- Be active in continuous process optimization
- Positively Interact with industry partners and internal stakeholders
Skills
- 1-4 years of experience in life insurance
- Current license in Ontario and other provinces
- Desire to drive sales organically through digital channels
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of professional customer service
- Driven by success and thrive on meeting or exceeding goals
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and drive for success with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Ambition to lead an emerging life brokerage with high growth potential
- High energy with the ability to multi-task
- Strong commitment to teamwork with excellent communication skills
- Experience in managing a high-volume pipeline
- Strong organizational skills
- Great computer skills navigating multiple screens and platforms with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
