A Global Am Law 100 firm is seeking multiple experienced Litigation Paralegals to add to its existing staff in its New York office. - Responsibilities
- Prepare and electronically file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other court documents in state and federal courts.
- Support attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, exhibits, and overall case management.
- Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and court-related websites.
- Manage large-scale document productions and case data using litigation support platforms such as Relativity.
- Cite-check, proofread, and fact-check briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized case files in accordance with firm standards.
- Assist with mentoring and supporting junior paralegals, as appropriate.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2–10 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Strong knowledge of New York state and federal court rules and procedures.
- Proficiency with litigation databases, electronic filing systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
