  • You will be joining the C2 Ground Team responsible for designing, integrating, and testing hardware products. These products are integrated to create complex command and control systems, both mobile and fixed, supplied to The Skunkworks™ and other customers.
  • This position will be responsible for developing designs, providing technical support and guidance on production, installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of program technical products, programs and systems. This position will work closely with other Hardware and Logistics engineers to deliver modern and effective solutions to meet our customers' needs.
  • Provides expertise for resolving technical issues during production and installation efforts, troubleshoots products during system integration and operations, and modifies product to customer requirements.
  • This position will require strong organizational, written and communication skills.
  • This position will require travel (up to 10%) to customer facilities for integration and deployment events.
  • Experience of supporting and/or working within the Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs, other Special Programs divisions internally or externally, and/or Special Access Programs (SAPs) are strongly desired.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Hands on experience with rack assembly, cable assembly, cable routing, or manufacturing operations.
  • Hands on experience with electronics build-up, assembly, and integration.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • ***Current DoD Secret Security Clearance.***

Desired skills

  • Familiarity with Zuken E3 software for electrical design and schematic capture.
  • Familiarity with custom cable creation and termination of CAT6.
  • Experience with EPDM (Windchill)
  • Experience working with suppliers/subcontractors
  • Familiarity with Mil Standards, ruggedized design and environmental test requirements.
  • ***Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.***

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
