Job Description
Hi, I’d like to start a new project with you. The Concept I want to build a bolthires channel very similar in style, structure, and storytelling approach to the channel “Lamb Sauce”. However, instead of Hell’s Kitchen, the focus will be on the US series Bar Rescue, using the same narrative principles. I’ll provide a reference video/script from Lamb Sauce. Please study it carefully, as the writing style, tone, pacing, hook structure, case selection, and dramatic escalation are central to this project and should closely match the reference.
Reference video: (Times When Chefs Made Unforgivable Mistakes in Hell's Kitchen)
Our analog version will be: “ Times When Bar Owners Made Unforgivable Mistakes on Bar Rescue” ✍️
Your Role
Your responsibilities will include: • Researching relevant Bar Rescue episodes, moments, and stories • Writing scripts that closely match the style, flow, and narrative structure of the reference script Important:
The Lamb Sauce reference uses a different tone and structure than what we previously discussed (german wissenswert channel).
Matching this style is essential for this project. Test Structure To ensure alignment before moving into full scripts, we’ll begin with a short, milestone-based test. Test You will choose one case and write one single segment only — not the full script. Only one Segment/Case. The segment should match the average length of one case/segment in the reference video and script. This allows me to evaluate whether the following aspects align with what I’m looking for: • writing style • pacing and sentence rhythm • research approach • overall tone All based closely on the reference video and script.
Second Case (Research Only) In addition, please select a second case, but do not write the full segment. For this case, only provide: • the relevant links • clear timestamps • a brief 1–2 sentence description explaining what this segment would be about and why it fits the format. If the test is approved, I will create a milestone You will then proceed with the full script, including: • Hook / Intro • Main body • Outro All written very closely in the same tone, structure, and restraint as the reference format.
Deliverables & Resources Alongside the script, please provide all resources needed for editing, including: • Video links for all scenes referenced in the script • Any additional visual resources discovered during research (articles, interviews, comments, social media posts, etc.) If the reference video does not rely on visuals beyond show footage, additional visual resources are not required. Note: Motion graphics themselves are not your responsibility — this will be handled in editing. ⚙️ Important Workflow Guidelines Script Structure • Write the script as a complete, self-contained story from start to finish, as if it were driven entirely by narration.
• Motion graphics may be considered, but the script must work without relying on them. • Where helpful, you may mark narrative moments where on-screen graphics could support clarity or emphasis, using simple markers such as: o [ON-SCREEN NAME CARD] o [PHOTO COMPARISON] • Do not design the story around graphics. Timestamps Video Link & Timestamp Guidelines • Provide video links for all scenes referenced in the script. • Use approximate timestamps only, such as: o 2:10–2:40 o early confrontation o mid-episode meltdown • Do not provide frame-perfect or shot-by-shot timestamps.
• The goal is to indicate where the moment happens, not how it is edited. Audio Marking Please clearly indicate: • When original show audio should be used (Escalation moments or very important scenes) • When voice-over narration should play
This is for storytelling intent only; final timing and execution will be handled in editing. Pricing If everything looks good to you, I’d like to move forward with the same rate as before: $25 USD for a ~10-minute script. The final video should be approximately 10–11 minutes in length.
