Job Summary:

LA Tutors 123 is a premier, in-home and online, private tutoring service provider. Founded in 2007 by a team of educators with decades of experience, LA Tutors 123 was created with the vision of providing unparalleled one-on-one instruction. We are currently accepting applications for engaging, enthusiastic part-time Computer Science tutors who specializes in SyntaxNet, Google Language Processing, Sckikit-learn, and OCR in python to join our team

Primary Responsibilities:

Assisting student with homework, projects, test preparation and other academic tasks

Providing feedback to students/parents regarding academic progress

Design and implement lesson plans at various academic levels

Maintain good communication between parents/students

Ability to tutor online via Zoom

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years prior teaching/tutoring experience.

A relatively flexible schedule, particularly after on weekday afternoons and weekends

In-depth knowledge of High School AP Computer Science curriculum

Knowledge of SyntaxNet, Google Language Processing, Scikit-learn, and OCR in python

Previous experience creating lesson plans, and managing tutoring timelines

Bachelor's degree or higher from a prestigious university

A fun, positive personality and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to navigate Zoom professionally

Minimum 1-year commitment
