Job Description

Internship opportunity to develop ML-based tools improving chip implementation for AI/ML architectures at Tenstorrent. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Develop ML-based tools and flows to improve Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) and turnaround time for chip implementation from synthesis to tapeout for various IPs. • Collaborate with Physical Design (PD) engineers across ASIC domains including synthesis, place and route (PnR), timing closure, and power grid analysis. • Select appropriate datasets, data representation methods, and implement new algorithms.

• Run machine learning tests, perform statistical analysis, and fine-tune models using test results. • Work on high-performance designs for industry-leading AI/ML architectures. About You

The company is looking for: • Currently pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering (CE), or Computer Science (CS). • Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms. • Experience solving problems with Machine Learning models.

• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and software development using Python and C/C++. Compensation & Benefits • Compensation ranges from $50/hr to $70/hr, including base and variable compensation targets. • Competitive compensation package and benefits. • Hybrid work model based in Santa Clara, CA: 4 days in office, 1 day remote. Training & Development • Learn to apply ML systems and flows to high-performance AI/ML designs. • Gain practical experience extending ML systems and implementing cutting-edge algorithms.
