About the position The Manager, ACS Contracts & Administration is responsible for assisting the Director with management of all Frontier contractual arrangements with airport third-party service providers (to include, but not limited to: ground handling, wheelchair services, deicing services, etc.); this includes holding the secondary corporate relationship with airport vendor personnel. Responsibilities β’ Assist in the management of a $200+ million cost center budget β’ Leading sourcing initiatives on behalf of ACS, in both technical and non-technical areas, to include deicing services, wheelchair provisioning, ground handling services and janitorial services β’ Evaluating and negotiating Living Wage Ordinances and Minimum Wage changes β’ A point of escalation for business partner disputes β’ Service Level Agreement program management β’ Contract database management and reporting β’ Analysis, production and coordination of third-party service provider reviews and regular scorecards β’ Drafting of contracts and amendments utilizing Frontier's templates β’ Creation and maintenance of an electronic contract repository β’ Review of existing contracts for discrepancies of work scope vs. current performance expectations β’ Conducting various station performance analyses β’ Identifying areas of opportunity for cost savings and reductions of risk with third-party service providers β’ Primary point of contact with Frontier's Finance organization as it relates to the budgeting and forecasting of ACS airport and third-party service provider expenses Requirements β’ 5 years of aviation experience, preferably with an air carrier or third-party aviation services provider β’ 2 years supervisory/management experience preferred β’ 2 years of purchasing experience preferred β’ Experience with RFPs and the administration of contracts β’ Bachelor's Degree in Business or Aviation Management or similar discipline; combination of education and relevant experience considered in lieu of degree Nice-to-haves β’ Thorough understanding and knowledge of aviation industry including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management preferred β’ Exceptional negotiation skills β’ Ability to work with business partners to ensure cost-effective and timely customer service satisfaction β’ Working knowledge of ground handling procedures and staff planning β’ Excellent verbal communication skills β’ High level of initiative and strong presentation skills β’ Understanding of vendor management β’ Skilled in interpersonal communication, facilitation, leadership, dealing with multiple vendors, contract management, and problem-solving β’ Ability to identify contract inefficiencies thus leading to cost savings and reductions with business partners Benefits β’ Flight benefits for you and your family to fly on Frontier Airlines β’ Buddy passes for your friends β’ Discounts throughout the travel industry on hotels, car rentals, cruises and vacation packages β’ Discounts on cell phone plans, movie tickets, restaurants, luggage and over 2,000 other vendors β’ Enjoy a βDress for your Day' business casual environment β’ Flexible work schedules that support work/life balance β’ Total Rewards program including a competitive base salary, short term incentives, long-term incentives, paid holidays, 401(k) plan, vacation/sick time and medical/dental/vision insurance that begins the 1st of the month following your hire date β’ Financial assistance during catastrophic hardship through the HOPE League Apply tot his job
