Overview Manager, Employee Relations - Job Description The Manager, Employee Relations will lead a team of HR Generalists and Sr. HR Generalists responsible for providing a wide range of HR support across MSG as part of the HR Operations team. A Manager, Employee Relations will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on performance management, investigations, terminations, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between employees and leaders. Responsibilities β€’ Lead and develop a team of HR Generalists and Sr. HR Generalists by providing direction for all employee relations and performance management activities and initiatives. β€’ Partner with HR Operations leadership on training and guidance for company talent rhythm and performance management activities such as goal setting and the annual review process. β€’ Partner with leaders across the organization on performance management activities including Improvement Action Plans of large size and complexity and as a point of escalation for other members of the team. β€’ Act as a consultant to leaders on employee relations situations, day-to-day coaching, team structure, compensation, and policy interpretation. β€’ Partner with Clinical team and other Employee Relations team members to advise on escalated investigations related to traveler concerns, complaints, and terminations. β€’ Facilitate Stay Interviews as needed and partner with HR Operations team to share feedback with leaders. β€’ Partner with HR Operations team on employee exits including exit surveys and interviews, company communication, and partnership with IT and Facilities on equipment, systems, and access. β€’ Partner with HR Operations team on retention reporting and communication of exit themes to leaders within business unit. β€’ Partner with leaders across the organization to review and analyze feedback and create action plans based on Manager Effectiveness and Engagement surveys. β€’ Assist with updating job descriptions as needed. β€’ Facilitate employee changes such as transfers and promotions as needed. β€’ Assist with other HR programs, policies, and processes as necessary. β€’ Oversee immigration and visa sponsorship processes. β€’ Maintain and apply knowledge of relevant employment laws and best practices. Qualifications β€’ 6+ years in Human Resources role β€’ 2+ years of experience directly supporting senior leaders within multiple business units β€’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business or equivalent work experience β€’ Experience directly leading and managing a team strongly desired β€’ Experience with employee relations or coaching conversations β€’ Experience conducting investigations β€’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization β€’ Strong ability to maintain confidentiality β€’ Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint β€’ Ability to develop strong relationships and credibility throughout the business β€’ Ability to maintain flexibility and balance a variety of interactive and administrative tasks Pay RangeUSD $100,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.Message for benefits and other job details Click the blue job title linked below for benefits and other job details.
