Job Description
This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire position that will report directly to our Co-Founder/interim CMO. While exact responsibilities may flex week-over-week, in this role, you will:
- Collaborate with team and contractors to execute cross-channel marketing strategies — from planning, to content capture/creation, to copywriting, execution and posting — across Family by Co marketing channels, including:
- Organic social - create and publish social content for our Family by co channels according to our content pillars; draft biweekly briefs for video content creators; community management
- Paid media (social and SEM) - support efforts to experiment, iterate, and track ads to raise awareness among intended parents
- Email - create and optimize segmented drip campaigns for intended parents
- Site content - project manage development of several articles per month for the Family by Co site; with an SEO-first approach — including briefing, editing, routing for approvals, and publishing
- Clinic marketing - collaborate with BD partners to build out Cofertility’s preferred clinic network, forging clinic partnerships and acquiring members with effective marketing collateral
- Partnerships - engage cross-functionally with other teams on IP acquisition partnerships (events, conferences, media partners) and expected lead generation
- Influencer marketing - identifying influencers in the family-building space (LGBTQ+ and infertility) who have used egg donors; managing these relationships, crafting content agreements, and reporting
- Ideate and execute on other creative ways to get in front of intended parents seeking an egg donor
- If desired, participate in various strategic meetings with leadership and rest of team
- Take a results-driven approach, with regular pulse checks and weekly metrics reporting on campaign performance, intended parent leads, and community engagement
- Communicate with team members asynchronously via Slack
- Keep a finger on the pulse of cultural trends among our intended parents demographics and keeping the team in-the-know
NOTE: As with any startup, our needs change on a regular basis and the responsibilities above may shift based on our overarching goals of managing the Family by Co brand and recruiting intended parents to our platform.

- You are:
- A fast mover with an entrepreneurial energy and an analytical mind, eager to experiment and build from the ground up
- Knowledgeable of the fertility and family-building space, with familiarity in marketing within women’s health, fertility, and/or LGBTQ+ verticals
- Highly engaged in social media and content creation, with additional experience in paid media (social, search, and more)
- Someone with a creative eye — you know what creates engaging content, and you’re able to capture or create it
- A results-driven executor, always keeping KPIs top of mind
- A self-starter who is not afraid to learn new things to build your skillset
- A team player with a “no problem is too small” attitude
- A strong communicator who thrives working cross-functionally in a remote-first environment
- Proficient in Canva, Mailchimp (or similar platform) and Google Suite (Sheets and Slides), with Notion experience a plus
Please be prepared to share examples of marketing campaigns you have worked on for other brands, particularly that have had a strong social and/or paid media component.
Timeframe: 40 hours per week for 16 weeks, with potential opportunity to convert to full-time hire
