About the position
The Material Damage Telephone Claims Adjuster Consultant I position at National General involves reviewing and adjusting material damage and auto liability claims in a fully remote environment. The role requires a strong customer service mindset and effective communication skills to investigate claims, determine coverage and liability, and negotiate settlements within the authority limits. Responsibilities • Investigate and confirm facts of loss for automobile accidents. • Determine coverage, liability, and damages for claims.
• Negotiate claims within the limit of authority. • Collaborate with fraud or subrogation representatives for claims involving fraud. • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate service. • Apply understanding of insurance policies and organizational relationships. • Handle investigations regarding all aspects of auto claims. Requirements • 4 year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) • 2 or more years of experience in claims adjusting (Preferred) • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
