Job Description
PwC Canada is a community of solvers focused on tackling important problems, and they are seeking a Full-time Associate in their Tax practice. This role involves providing advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy, specifically for Canadian-owned US businesses.
Responsibilities
- Providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy
- Helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions
- Providing advice and guidance to clients on structuring their global tax positions
- Analysing international tax laws and regulations to develop strategies that optimise tax efficiency and minimise risks for multinational businesses
- Building relationships, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, and contributing to work that matters
- Participating in PwC Canadaโs US CPA support program, which includes paid study days, reimbursement of CPA modules and examinations, and coaching
- Gaining hands-on experience with digital tax tools and participating in the national upskilling program
Skills
- Enrolled in post-secondary education and working to obtain the US CPA required prerequisite courses
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
- Share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
- Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities

- This role requires that you are legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract
