Job Description

BPA is more than an engineering firm — it’s a passionate team shaping the buildings and infrastructure of tomorrow. They are seeking a driven Mechanical Technologist to help design mechanical building systems and gain hands-on experience through a comprehensive mentoring program.

Responsibilities

Help design mechanical building systems for various projects for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
Work primarily on the layout of the applicable business sector
Survey existing conditions under mentor’s supervision
Help draw up plans in AutoCAD and Revit

Skills

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Science Technology
Member of OACETT (or in process) an asset
Any experience in consulting engineering, or other relevant experience is an asset, including internships
Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit and Office 365 Suite
Fluency in spoken and written English
Excellent communications skills, with a client focus & collaborative mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent organizational skills
Eligibility to obtain a Canadian Reliability Status
Availability to be Full-time in office for the first 6 months of employment
