About the position
- Answer inbound patient calls and general inquiries
- Assist with patient communication and appointment coordination
- Provide receptionist and front desk support for the practice
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Ensure calendars remain synced across scheduling platforms
- Coordinate patient bookings from multiple sources
- Verify patient insurance eligibility
- Communicate with the billing team if additional insurance information is needed
- Maintain and update patient records in SimplePractice EMR
- Assist with organizing and maintaining patient documentation
- Manage patient inquiries coming from platforms such as Psychology Today, Headway, and the practice website
- Assist with patient intake coordination
- Help maintain organized records and administrative workflows
- Support general administrative tasks to help streamline practice operations
