Position Details: Overview: Do you enjoy working behind the scenes on the computer investigating and correcting denial claims in medical billing in order to receive payment? Join our billing team as a Billing AR Specialist! Job Title: RCM AR Specialist Location: Re.mo.te Opportunities Available Typical Schedule: Part time varied, flexible schedule Mondays – Fridays, 8:00am – 5:00pm PST, not exceeding 25 hours weekly General Description of Benefits: 401k - employer matching up to 4% 8 paid holidays per year Tiered PTO accrual 80 – 200 hours annually Complimentary parking Employee Assistance Program provided Additional health insurance coverage options for full-time status employees Qualifications: Prior experience specifically in Medical AR Billing strongly preferred Preferred, but not required experience using ModMed HS Diploma, GED; or 1-3 years related healthcare experience and/or medical billing training Our AR billers must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; must have strong understanding of medical insurance, working denied claims/appeals, be comfortable contacting insurance companies and patients, and multitasking from multiple electronic clinical programs and websites Our AR billers must have exceptional customer service skills, excellent data entry skills, and be very detail oriented.
