This role works collaboratively with physicians, care teams, and support staff to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and accrediting standards. The Medical Office LPN must hold an active Massachusetts LPN license and maintain current clinical knowledge and skills.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRoom patients, obtain vitals and PMH, and support providers throughout patient visits, including testing, immunizations, correspondence, and schedulingManage medication and imaging prior authorizationsReview incoming lab resultsProcess medication refills per protocol and set up electronic refill requestsAddress provider requests within the electronic medical recordDeliver safe, organized, and coordinated patient care for assigned patients and familiesBuild professional relationships with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and colleaguesEducate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventative careCollaborate effectively to ensure quality, continuity, and regulatory-compliant careDemonstrate competency in evidence-based practice, patient education, teamwork, and regulatory readinessEducation & RequirementsCurrent Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredWhy Anna Jaques HospitalAt Anna Jaques Hospital, you’ll be part of a mission-driven organization that values teamwork, respect, and community-based care. Pay Range: $29.00 - $39.03The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
