The Merchandising Operations Support role is critical in facilitating in-store merchandising campaigns and ensuring effective communication and execution across various retail channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage trouble tickets and store inquiries regarding merchandising, fixtures, POP, etc
- Drive innovation and simplicity - identify opportunities and drive process improvements, standardization and strategic thinking to gain efficiencies for in-store execution
- Support Marketing Communications team with day to day administrative tasks as well as assist with one-off projects as required
- Update and create merchandising planograms, including accurate representation of regional marketing elements to support leaseline tactical updates in the visual merchandising system (VMS)
- Support on broadcasting leaseline same day and next day changes to Corporate and Dealer Channel leads
- Develop communications & store surveys and photo audits on new product launches and projects
- Liaise with team on planogram timing and execution
- Forecast print quantities for merchandising elements and coordinate distribution
- Provide merchandising support – extra requests (POP, logins, training etc) projects, zone Expansions and adaptations
- Support the Retail channel in identifying challenges and coming up with creative solutions to their visual merchandising/fixture problems
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- A university degree or college diploma
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Self-motivated willing to take initiative to see tasks through to completion
- Critical thinker - asking questions and identifying root cause
- Great communicator – outstanding written, verbal, and listening skills
- Analytical mind - able to identify trends and proactively foresee issues
- Eye for detail and nuances
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Agile – able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Experience in channel execution programs, sales support and visual merchandising is preferred
- Advanced skills in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of our Visual Merchandising System (VMS) preferred
