Morrison Mahoney LLP is a premier litigation law firm in the Northeast seeking a Full Time Associate Attorney specializing in civil litigation. The role involves managing a caseload, drafting legal documents, attending depositions and trials, and collaborating with clients and colleagues to develop effective litigation strategies. Responsibilities Manage your own caseload from inception to resolution Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies Provide clients with updates and interim status reports on their cases Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda to bolster case strategies Work alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management Skills A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar At least one (1) year of prior civil litigation experience Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts Strong advocacy skills Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions Ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests Experience in taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions Attention to detail Effective communication skills Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401(k) Life Insurance Health Savings Account Flexible Spending Account Competitive
