Job Description
We are looking for an experienced mobile-first app developer (iOS, Android, or cross-platform) to build a subscription-based installer locator app for North America. This app will allow users to find qualified graphic installers based on location, skill sets, and certifications, using installer data that we provide. Core App Functionality: Installer Data Management Installer information will be uploaded by us via a bolthires Excel spreadsheet. Fields include: Installer name Email address (not publicly visible) Physical address / service area Skills, certifications, and qualifications
The system must support ongoing updates via spreadsheet upload.
Mobile Search & Discovery Mobile-optimized search and filtering by: Location (GPS-based, city/state, or radius search) Skill sets Certifications and qualifications Optional map-based search is a plus. Paid Subscription Access
The app will be accessible only to users with an annual paid subscription. Subscription handling should support bolthires App Store / bolthires Play billing or an equivalent solution. Users without an active subscription should not have access to installer search results. Installers must pay an annual dues to keep their listing in the App.
In-App Contact Request System Users will not have direct access to installer contact information. Instead, users submit a contact request within the app. The app sends the request to the installer on behalf of the user. Installers may choose whether or not to respond. Admin & Backend Secure backend to manage: Installer records Subscription access Contact requests Admin interface for data uploads and basic management is required. Technology Expectations: Mobile-first approach (React Native, Flutter, Swift/Kotlin, or similar) Scalable backend and database Secure handling of personal data Clean, intuitive mobile UI/UX Deliverables: Production-ready mobile application Backend and admin tools Documentation for updating installer data Source code and deployment support Ideal Candidate: Strong portfolio of mobile apps, especially directory or marketplace-style apps Experience with in-app subscriptions and payments Comfortable designing both mobile UI and backend workflows Proactive communicator who can recommend best practices To Apply: Please include: Links to mobile apps you’ve built (App Store / bolthires Play)
