The Modeling and Simulation Engineer role involves developing models and simulations for DoD clients, performing detailed analyses, and contributing to the evaluation of weapon systems and foreign threats. Responsibilities Join an energetic team whose day-to-day mission involves breaking down our clients’ toughest challenges and communicating the essential results of that work to their stakeholders and leadership Develop the cutting-edge technology used to support the warfighter and maintain national security Model and assess foreign threat radars, antennas, and communication systems Perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems and survivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios Contribute to a fast-paced team environment focused on client delivery Hone technical abilities on significant technical problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication Perform modeling and simulation development and operational assessments, to possibly include radar signal processing code development and the refinement of missile and gun models in Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink Directly impact the Department of Defense’s mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures improve survivability and decrease vulnerability against foreign threat systems Help make informed decisions for the acquisition of future systems Skills Experience with coding in MATLAB, C, C++, FORTRAN, or Python Ability to work in a team environment Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Scheduled to obtain a bachelor's degree in an Engineering field by Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026 Experience with engineering and mathematics Experience with modeling and simulation Experience with Linux Knowledge of radar principles for antennas, signal processing, and track filters Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Secret clearance Master's degree Benefits Health Life Disability Financial Retirement benefits Paid leave
