We are looking for a skilled MongoDB Architect with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL to design, implement, and manage high-performance database solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing database architecture, ensuring scalability, and supporting both NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL (PostgreSQL) systems.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement MongoDB database architecture for scalable and secure applications
- Manage database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and replication in MongoDB
- Develop data models and manage schema designs for both MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Migrate data between PostgreSQL and MongoDB as needed
- Ensure data consistency, security, and backup strategies
- Work closely with development and DevOps teams to optimize database usage
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in production environments
- Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in MongoDB architecture, design, and performance tuning
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization
- Experience with data migration between NoSQL and relational databases
- Knowledge of replication, sharding, and backup strategies in MongoDB
- Familiarity with database security and best practices
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, or similar) is a plus
