Royal Credit Union is looking for a Mortgage Processing Assistant who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. In this role, you will support mortgage loan processing, obtain and verify essential documents, and help create an outstanding experience for Members and team members alike.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support for mortgage loan processing and originating activities
- Provide exceptional experience to our clients, Members, and team members with every interaction
- Obtain and verify documents needed for loan processing and originating
- Order necessary services for mortgage loans and complete final steps before closing
Skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be bondable
- Occasional travel required within Royal's geographic footprint
- Working knowledge of financial services and basic accounting principles; ability to produce accurate, high-quality data entry and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, interviewing and listening skills, and a strong customer service mindset
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities
- Adept at analytical and critical thinking, resolving recurring problems, and making decisions related to complex daily work
- Ability to multitask, manage interruptions, function in high-volume settings, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate within a team
- Experience working for a financial or Home Loan Department
