Job Description
We are seeking a talented motion graphic designer to create dynamic digital designs for our website. If you are creative and detail-oriented, we would love to see your work. Please apply with relevant examples of your motion graphics projects. Visualisation Specification: Transformation from Planned Preventative Maintenance Calendar to Data-Led Maintenance Calendar 1. Overview
This specification details requirements for a dynamic visualisation as a motion capture image (e.g., animated or sequential frames).
It aims to show the evolution from a traditional planned preventative maintenance calendar to a data-led one, emphasising how data insights improve or supplant fixed schedules. Output: High-quality, professional image or animation for presentations, reports, or educational content in maintenance systems. 2. Core Visualisation Elements Morphing Transition: Depict seamless morphing from "Planned Preventative Maintenance Calendar" to "Data-Led Maintenance Calendar". Initial: Static, time-based schedule (grid/timeline with fixed dates/tasks).
Final: Dynamic with real-time indicators, predictive icons, adaptive scheduling (e.g., sensor/metrics-based). Use motion to show fluid shifts: shapes changing, colours blending, elements reorganising engagingly. Convey benefits like efficiency via smoother flows, less clutter, emerging charts/icons. Calendar Representation: Show as monthly/yearly grids, timelines, or Gantt charts. Include placeholder tasks (e.g., icons for checks, repairs, inspections). Differentiate: Planned: Rigid, uniform with predefined slots.
Data-Led: Flexible, overlaid with data (IoT, AI predictions, alerts). 3. Legend Key and Colour Coding Integrate prominent legend in non-obtrusive bolthires (e.g., bottom-right/side). Map colours to statuses: Green: Completed Planned Maintenance – Finished per schedule. Amber: Upcoming Scheduled Planned Maintenance – Approaching due dates. Red: Overdue Planned Maintenance – Past deadlines, unfinished. Blue: Actual Completed Data-Led Maintenance – Done via data triggers (e.g., analytics/monitoring). Use icons/shapes (coloured squares/circles) with labels.
Ensure high contrast; follow WCAG for colour blindness. 4. Technical and Design Requirements Format: GIF, animated PNG, or 3-5 static frames for motion simulation. Style: Modern, minimalist; sans-serif fonts, gradients, high-res (min 1920x1080). Tools: Adobe After Effects, Blender, AI tools (Midjourney/DALL-E) with refined prompts. Accessibility: Alt text for images. Avoid intense animations. Constraints: Original/royalty-free assets only. Scalable for digital/print. 5. Validation Criteria Morphing clearly shows shift from reactive to proactive maintenance.
All legend colours appear in calendars. Design intuitive, legend-sufficient. For refinement or image generation, confirm or add details. I need this completed before 30th December 2025 ideally. Apply tot his job
