The MSAT Emerging Technical Post Doc role involves implementing innovative manufacturing solutions, evaluating new PAT sensors, and collaborating with teams to enhance biopharmaceutical processes. Responsibilities Evaluate new PAT sensors Invent, lead and complete projects using mechanistic modeling and/or PAT projects for implementation in manufacturing Collaborate with various other functions within the larger MSAT and R&D teams Develop, validate, and implement high impact innovative solutions in a GMP environment Develop new strategies for product intensification, real time release and advanced process control for next generation manufacturing Lead activities associated with ongoing multivariate analysis projects Authoring technical reports and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications Skills Phd is required A minimum of 0-2 years experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related field Ability to exhibit strong understanding of material characterization methods, including spectroscopy, microscopy, thermal, and physical methods Exhibit strong understanding of biotherapeutic manufacturing operations such as cell culture, protein purification, or formulation Training in analytics and statistics to analyze information and draw conclusions based upon their findings Excellent communication, verbal, written, and presentation skills are required Proficient in programming languages such as R, Matlab, Python are strongly preferred Benefits Vacation –120 hours per calendar year Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member Caregiver Leave – 10 days Volunteer Leave – 4 days Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours Company Overview Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine focuses on developing medical solutions for some of the challenging diseases and medical conditions.
