Remote School Social Worker (Part-Time | Bilingual Required)
Location: Remote (Must hold FL School Social Work License)
Schedule: 24 Hours/Week
Grade Levels: Middle & High School
School Year: 2025–2026
Job Overview:
Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated and bilingual School Social Worker to join a virtual team supporting students across Florida. This remote, part-time role is focused on serving middle and high school students and involves close collaboration with Special Education teachers to help meet students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
We are actively seeking candidates who are bilingual in Spanish or Haitian-Creole to effectively communicate with families and students.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual counseling and social-emotional support to students
- Collaborate with Special Education staff to support IEP goals and services
- Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Engage in family outreach and help connect families to school and community resources
- Participate in IEP and team meetings virtually
- Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Valid Florida School Social Work license or eligibility
- Fluent in Spanish or Haitian-Creole (required)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and virtual collaboration skills
