Day-to-Day:

· Defend personal injury actions arising under NY Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1), and 241(6)

· Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice

· Draft and argue summary judgment motions and oppositions

· Attend court conferences and hearings in New York courts as required

· Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy and risk assessment

· Participate in pro bono matters supporting civil rights and small businesses

Ideal Candidate:

· 2–6 years of New York Labor Law defense experience

· Background defending construction-related personal injury actions

· Strong motion practice and deposition skills

· Self-directed, organized, and comfortable working in a remote-first environment
