Project Overview
I am seeking an experienced book interior designer to professionally format a structured nonfiction parenting guide into a clean, polished PDF for direct digital sale (via Stan Store). This project is not for Amazon/KDP at this time.
The manuscript is complete and approximately:
11,453 words
Estimated 60 pages in final layout
10 chapters plus one bonus chapter
Structured around a 12-week developmental framework
Includes a limited number of reflection and observation pages
The book is written by a school psychologist and is professional, calm, and developmentally grounded. The interior design should reflect that tone: structured, minimal, and highly readable.
This is not a graphic-heavy or illustration-based project.
Scope of Work
I am looking for:
Professional typography and layout
Clear visual hierarchy (chapters, phase headings, subheads)
Consistent margins, spacing, and page flow
Clean formatting of reflection/form pages
Appropriate white space for readability
Final 8.5 x 11 PDF (optimized for both printing and digital use)
Compressed, download-ready digital PDF
