Job Overview We are currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented Tax Professionals holding valid CTEC or PTIN credentials to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and financial concepts, contributing to accurate and efficient client service. This position is open to both full-time professionals and interns eager to develop their skills in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities • Prepare and review individual, business, and estate tax returns with precision and compliance. • Assist clients with estate planning, trusts, wills, and estate law considerations. • Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial reports, and reconcile accounts using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and other financial tools. • Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards including SOX compliance and GAAP guidelines. • Support clients with corporate accounting tasks such as balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bookkeeping.
• Perform audits, internal controls reviews, and assist with mergers & acquisitions due diligence. • Provide guidance on financial concepts including asset management, private equity, non-profit accounting, and investment strategies. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of securities law, tax law changes, and industry regulations affecting financial services and tax preparation. • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports; interpret complex financial data for clients. • Engage in continuous professional development related to tax laws, accounting standards (GAAP), and new financial software tools.
Qualifications • Valid CTEC or PTIN credential required; active registration preferred. • Proven experience in tax preparation or related financial services roles; familiarity with tax experience is essential. • Strong understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and regulatory compliance standards. • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; experience with financial report writing and interpretation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of estate planning, wills & trusts law; familiarity with securities law and public accounting practices is a plus. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines efficiently. to leverage your tax expertise in a supportive environment that values professionalism and continuous learning. Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $500.00 - $1,220.47 per week
