Job Description
UHealth is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our post-acute care team, providing high-quality, compassionate care at skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout Virginia.
This is a travel-based position — you’ll rotate among facilities, working at each location anywhere from a few days to up to 90 days. Providers typically return home on weekends, making this an exciting opportunity to see different parts of the state while doing meaningful work.

- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in post-acute settings
- Collaborate with nursing staff and consulting physicians to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document patient visits and care plans promptly in the electronic medical record

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours only
- Call: Limited, phone-only coverage
- Compensation:
- Full-time: Salary plus quarterly bonus
- Part-time: Hourly rate
- Qualifications
- Experience in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, or General Practice
- Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred
- Current Virginia NP license and unencumbered DEA license required
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and a positive, patient-centered approach

Pay: $120,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
