Registered Nurses are encouraged to consider a part-time remote Nurse Reviewer position with Liberty Healthcare Corporation. Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program in Idaho which assesses children and adults who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities and / or autism. These assessments are used to determine eligibility for various publicly funded health and human services. As Libertyβs Nurse Reviewer, you will apply your nursing expertise to determine eligibility for intense 1:1 support services.
This Will Involve β’ Gaining deep knowledge of current regulations and criteria related to intense services / 1:1 supports β’ Reviewing health information of children and adults β’ Identifying gaps or inconsistencies in documentation and requesting clarifications as necessary β’ Collaborating with others to make approval or denial determinations β’ Determining whether service requests meet established criteria β’ Creating professional and evidence-based determination letters β’ Attending weekly virtual meetings every Thursday from 2pm to 4pm You Can Expect β’ Starting pay between $32.00 and $40.00 per hour (depending on qualifications) β’ Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 10-15 hours per week) β’ Ability to work remotely from your home office You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following: β’ Currently licensed in Idaho as a Registered Nurse (RN) β’ Ability to analyze and use health information to make informed decisions and recommendations β’ At least two years of nursing experience related to case management, long-term care, or care of older adults or people who are living with significant physical and developmental disabilities β’ Computer proficiency and solid writing skills Knowledge of IDAPA regulations and criteria for Intense Support Services is helpful.
