About the Opportunity:
DMI, LLC is seeking a OCM Manager/Trainer to join us.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies to support CBP’s adoption of enterprise-wide IT systems, infrastructure upgrades, and cybersecurity enhancements across mission-critical environments.
- Design and lead training and communication plans tailored for CBP personnel— analysts, engineers, and other staff—ensuring smooth transitions to new technologies, policies, and procedures.
- Apply OCM best practices to evaluate change readiness, assess stakeholder impact, and drive successful adoption of new tools and network modernization efforts.
- Translate technical project outcomes into accessible, CBP-mission-aligned guidance for operational and administrative end users.
- Conduct organizational assessments, workflow evaluations, and stakeholder analysis to identify barriers, streamline business processes, and improve procedural efficiency across CBP components.
- Create and maintain CBP-specific SOPs, training manuals, adoption toolkits, and job aids to ensure compliance, consistency, and sustainment across CBP’s IT modernization initiatives.
- Serve as a bridge between CBP program offices and technical implementation teams, aligning field requirements with enterprise engineering deliverables.
- Facilitate change workshops, working groups, and user feedback sessions to support iterative learning and improve adoption effectiveness.
- Support program managers and federal stakeholders in integrating OCM deliverables into project schedules, milestone tracking, and governance reporting.
- Conduct post-implementation impact assessments to measure user adoption, document lessons learned, and enhance continuous improvement in alignment with CBP strategic objectives.
- Operate under general supervision, with the expectation to lead and mentor junior OCM analysts, training coordinators, or contract support staff working within CBP’s network and security modernization programs.
Qualifications:
Education and Years of Experience:
BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
- Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with change management methodologies
- Familiarity with change management platforms and training logistics
- 5+ years in training or OCM leadership roles
- Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
- CBP training delivery or transition support a strong plus
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) preferred
