We are a small Engineering and Manufacturing team that is seeking an Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to process customer orders, handle accounts payable/receivable, and record financial transactions.

The role is part-time with an expected average of 30 hrs/week.

Duties

  • Process customer orders
  • Communicate order status to customers
  • Invoice customers
  • Purchasing
  • Inventory management
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Recording of financial transactions
  • Bank deposits
  • Bank account reconciliation
  • Packing/shipping
  • Travel booking
  • Associateย’s degree in Business or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • 2+ years of experience recording company financial transactions, ideally using QuickBooks
  • Computer literate; Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
  • Good communications skills
  • Pleasant attitude when communicating with customers
  • Excellent spelling and grammar
  • Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy
  • Good numerical skills
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Possess discretion, integrity and transparency when dealing with sensitive financial data
  • Willingness to do whatever is needed
  • Salary: $20-30 per hr
