Job Description
A contract position is available for a licensed Audiologist specializing in telehealth services within a school environment in Las Cruces, NM. This role supports students through direct therapy, case management, and collaboration on Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
- Key responsibilities include:
- Providing approximately 8 hours per month of direct therapy to students requiring audiological support
- Conducting case management duties to ensure proper documentation and student progress tracking
- Participating in paperwork preparation and compliance related to student services and regulations
- Attending and contributing to IEP meetings to support student accommodations and intervention planning via telehealth platforms
- Qualifications and experience:
- Current New Mexico state certification as an Audiologist is required
- Experience in delivering audiology services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency with telehealth technology and remote service delivery
- Excellent organizational skills for managing case files and reporting requirements
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
