The Oracle Business Consultant serves as a functional subject matter expert (SME) for designated Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules — including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Costing, iProcurement, Order Management, Trade Management, and Collections. This role captures and documents configuration requirements, assists in building and maintaining configuration inventories, defines acceptance criteria, and validates automation outputs during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
The consultant bridges business needs with solution delivery, ensuring Oracle EBS configurations align with process requirements. Responsibilities • Functional Expertise: Lead functional analysis and provide subject matter knowledge on assigned Oracle EBS modules • Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to capture detailed configuration requirements and process flows • Configuration Inventory: Assist in developing and maintaining comprehensive inventories of module configurations, setups, and dependencies • Acceptance Criteria Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear, measurable acceptance criteria for configurations and automated processes • UAT Validation: Validate automation outputs and configuration changes during the UAT phase; document results and defects • Process Documentation: Produce detailed documentation of requirements, configurations, acceptance tests, and sign-off procedures • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the functional liaison between business teams, technical delivery teams, and solution architects • Best Practices: Advise on Oracle EBS functional best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements • Change Management Support: Participate in change request reviews, impact assessments, and release readiness activities Requirements • Strong experience (5+ years) as a functional consultant in Oracle EBS across relevant modules (AP, AR, FA, Project Costing, iProc, Order Management, Trade Management, Collections) • Proven background in capturing business and configuration requirements • Experience in configuration inventory management • Solid knowledge of UAT processes, acceptance criteria creation, and validation methodologies • Familiarity with Oracle EBS automation outputs assessment and defect logging • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder-facing engagement • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in configuration validation • Ability to translate business processes into functional/technical specifications We offer • We connect like-minded people • Delivering innovative solutions to industry leaders, making a global impact • Enjoyable working environment, whether it is the vibrant office or the comfort of your own home • Opportunity to work abroad for up to two months per year • Relocation opportunities within our offices in 55+ countries • Corporate and social events • We invest in your growth • Leadership development, career advising, soft skills and well-being programs • Certifications, including GCP, Azure and AWS • Unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning and Get Abstract • Free English classes with certified teachers • We cover it all • Participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan • Monetary bonuses for engaging in the referral program • Comprehensive medical & family care package • Five trust days per year (sick leave without a medical certificate) • Benefits package (sports activities, a variety of stores and services) EPAM Georgia is a team of innovators united by a passion for technology.
