Role Overview
The Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional/Technical Analyst supports enterprise aftermarket systems within a complex supply chain and logistics environment. This role provides production support, troubleshooting, configuration, and minor development across Oracle EBS modules and integrations with AS400-based EDI systems and external partners.
The analyst works closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to support procurement, inventory, logistics, pricing, and order management processes across a hybrid enterprise environment that includes Oracle EBS, AS400 integrations, EDI platforms, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle EBS Functional & Technical Support
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and configuration for Oracle EBS modules including:
- Procurement / Purchasing
- Inventory Management
- Order Management
- Advanced Pricing
- Logistics / Shipping
- Supplier integrations Typical responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting purchase order integrations and supplier transactions
- Supporting punchout procurement integrations with third-party vendors
- Troubleshooting inbound Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) transactions from suppliers
- Investigating and resolving inbound/outbound purchase order interface issues
- Supporting EDI purchase order and supplier portal integrations
- Providing support for drop-ship and orderability configuration
- Assisting with advanced pricing uploads and configuration (modifiers, qualifiers, pricing rules) Inventory & Item Master Support
- Support Oracle EBS inventory and item master data management including:
- Item master configuration and troubleshooting
- Item category management
- Customer item cross-references
- Product line and sub-product line setup
- Inventory transactions and reconciliation
- On-hand, allocation, and availability analysis
- UPC and product relationship management
- Integration troubleshooting with upstream and downstream systems Logistics & Warehouse Operations Support
- Provide system support for warehouse and shipping operations including:
- Supporting picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Integration support with carrier systems
- Troubleshooting shipping documentation issues such as shipping labels and documentation
- Supporting warehouse and fulfillment workflows connected to Oracle EBS AS400 / EDI Integration Support (Application Level)
Provide application-level support for AS400-based EDI systems and integrations used for supplier, customer, and corporate data exchange.
- Responsibilities include:
- Supporting EDI transaction processing and troubleshooting
- Assisting with setup and configuration of EDI trading partners
- Maintaining EDI document mappings and exchanges
- Monitoring EDI transactions and resolving failures
- Coordinating with operations teams on infrastructure-related issues
- Supporting inbound and outbound interfaces between Oracle EBS and AS400 systems Common transactions supported include:
- Inbound customer purchase orders
- Outbound sales orders
- Advance Shipment Notices (ASN)
- Supplier ASN processing
- Invoice transmissions
- Inventory reporting transactions AS400 Application Support
Provide application-level support for AS400-based integrations and legacy systems.
- Responsibilities include:
- Supporting operational processes such as returns management and label maintenance
- Assisting with user access and application configuration
- Troubleshooting interface issues with corporate systems and partner integrations
- Supporting reprocessing and resending of failed transactions Required Skills & ExperienceERP Systems
- 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite
- Strong knowledge of:
- Procurement / Purchasing
- Inventory
- Order Management
- Advanced Pricing
- Warehouse or logistics modules

- Experience supporting enterprise system integrations
- Understanding of EDI transaction processing
- Experience troubleshooting interface failures and data flows AS400 / IBM i
- Experience supporting AS400 (IBM i) environments
- Familiarity with:
- EDI translation platforms
- Batch processing and job monitoring
- Interface troubleshooting
Supply Chain Domain Knowledge
- Experience supporting systems related to:
