Job Title: Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant

Location: Remote Job + Travel

Duration: 7 Months+

    Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets to lead functional design, configuration, and implementation efforts.
  • This role requires a hands-on professional who can translate complex finance business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions while driving delivery with minimal supervision.
    Key Responsibilities
  • Lead functional design and configuration of Oracle Fusion Financials, primarily General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets modules
  • Translate complex finance business requirements into effective Oracle Cloud solutions aligned with enterprise structure
  • Configure and manage:
  • Chart of Accounts (CoA)
  • Journal processing and subledger accounting (SLA)
  • Period close processes
  • Asset lifecycle (capture, capitalization, depreciation)
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting events, integrations, and data flows
  • Partner with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and recommend solutions aligned with best practices and accounting standards
  • Lead implementation activities, enhancements, and continuous improvements
  • Prepare functional design documents, business process flows, and solution specifications
  • Support reporting requirements using OTBI and Oracle Financial Reporting tools
  • Manage data migration activities using FBDI templates for journals and asset data loads
  • Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with Oracle Support (SRs)
  • Drive SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles
  • Support cutover planning and go-live activities
  • Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials
  • Promote best practices by leveraging standard Oracle functionality over customizations
    Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Fixed Assets
  • Subledger Accounting (SLA)
  • Proven experience in end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementations
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Experience with data migration tools (FBDI) and reporting tools (OTBI)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with intercompany accounting and financial close processes
  • Knowledge of additional Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, Cash Management)
  • Prior experience in large-scale enterprise implementation
  • Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus
