Master is a leading HVAC-R distributor in Canada, and they are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their Applied Sales Team. The role involves promoting and selling HVAC equipment to commercial and industrial clients while providing technical support and assessing customer needs. Responsibilities Assist the team with client requirements and propose suitable HVAC equipment/solutions aligned with their needs Identify and develop relationships with potential clients in various sectors to promote HVAC equipment and services Assist the team with technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to clients Working as part of the applied sales team to assist Consulting Engineers and contractors in developing their HVAC system design Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to close deals effectively Proactively deal with contractual and technical issues related to the customers Visit construction sites to evaluate product applications and deal with site issues Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions using CRM software Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand the customer base and foster relationships Attend regular product training sessions Skills Relevant University and/or College education ( Mechanical Engineering, HVAC/Instrumentations and Controls / Energy Systems Technologists) Excellent communication skills Proficiency in CRM software and bolthires Office suite Self-motivated, result-oriented, and ability to work as part of a team as well independently Required to travel to meet clients and attend events Valid driver's license Valid passport and ability to travel internationally Previous experience in the HVAC industry or a similar technical sales role would be an asset An understanding of HVAC systems, components, and their applications would be an asset Benefits Medical and dental coverage from day one, along with short and long-term disability protection Contribution to a collective registered retirement savings plan upon starting your role.
