Job Summary of Package Transporter: Under the supervision of their manager, the Package Transporter provides efficient and friendly package pick-up and delivery services for FedEx Office customers. They are responsible for checking shipments to confirm they meet FedEx service standards and assisting customers as required. Responsibilities of Package Transporter: • The completion of tasks includes operating a company vehicle and ensuring that regular maintenance and cleaning of the vehicles are carried out. • The courier will be informed of the route by a central dispatcher, who can make changes to the stops included in the itinerary if necessary. • Safeguard the prompt and secure delivery of parcels to customers within a designated urban area, as outlined in delivery schedules. • Handle the loading, unloading, and transportation of packages to and from the delivery vehicle with care to prevent damage.
