- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 active litigation cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and documents are properly filed.
- Assist one attorney in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
- Maintain consistent client communication and handle case updates efficiently.
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, and trial logistics.
- Ensure compliance with Illinois state court procedures, particularly in Cook, DuPage, and Will Counties.
- Utilize strong technology skills to streamline case management processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably within personal injury law.
- Strong understanding of Illinois civil litigation procedure.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in legal technology platforms and document management systems.
