Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests, ensuring timely and efficient processing to meet client turnaround times. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times, navigating efficiently and effectively through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry. Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines, accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements.
Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed. Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate. Requirements and Qualifications To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in data entry and typing-focused roles.
6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong data entry/typing skills, with excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results in a timely and efficient manner. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other team members to achieve common goals.
