Part Time Accounting/Payroll Accountant

PGX, LLC is a professional services firm serving the many needs of its clients that range from risk management providers to retail stores. Over the years, we have become a leading provider of back-office management services for our clients in the NY/NJ/PA region.

We are looking for a part-time Accounting/Payroll Accountant for a part-time position to manage the accounting records of our clients. Duties will include:

Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Bank reconciliation
Contract maintenance
Administration of Payroll
Benefits support
Assistance with recruiting and onboarding
Provide administrative support to management as needed

Experience in handling of confidential information
Experience in benefits and payroll administration
Proficient with Quickbooks
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, clients and vendors
Excellent organization and time management skills
Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
Minimum 3-5 years experience in providing accounting and bookkeeping services
Proficient with Microsoft PC products
Flexible remote working environment

Compensation:

$20-$25/hour

Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, use tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear. Frequently is required to stand and walk, and may need to use stairs, escalators, and elevators. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
