Job Description
The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis, focused on promoting and developing tennis across the United States. The role involves supporting the Director of Employer Branding & Engagement in enhancing the USTA's brand identity and facilitating connections between employees and volunteers through various communication channels and events.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director, Employer Branding & Engagement who leads and implements the look, feel, and overall tone of initiatives aimed at strengthening the USTA’s brand identity and fostering significant connections between employees and volunteers, and the association’s mission, purpose, values, and culture
- Internal Communications - using the content strategy, coordinate with Director of Branding, comms/creative teams and other content contributors to develop content and campaigns using designated channels (social media, CCTV, email, intranet and other direct comms)
- Support Director of Employer Branding in managing an in-take process for content including departments inside and outside P+C
- Intranet - manage content calendar, publish content on intranet, and coordinate with Analytics team to make determinations moving forward
- CC-TV - manage content for all 4 offices, maintain archive and create graphic slides or collaborate with creative services
- LinkedIn - coordinate with social media team to post content and track engagement based on the content calendar for staff/volunteer highlights, employer brand content, celebration months
- Email - help deploy and track emails and newsletters
- Events (Town Hall, Annual Meeting, staff events, etc.) support Director of Branding as needed with content such as new hires, section highlight videos, logistics and awards
- Supports the People Pillar within DEI that includes internship program, Business Resource Groups, DEI section and volunteer (Adaptive & DE&I Committee) projects, and other initiatives and campaigns as needed to further the goals of the P+C team (Talent Acquisition, Human Resources/Benefits, Leadership and Development, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)
Skills
- Strong written, verbal, visual, and presentation skills
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to track multiple projects and apply strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools. (Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Monday.com, Slack, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
- Must be available to work Monday - Thursday, 9am-5pm
