Quickly growing newspaper, financially stable, looking for a journalist with national and/or international news experience using credible sources.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Remote reporting on Connecticut politics, town meetings, events, human interest stories.
- Specialty in national or international reporting.
- Conduct interviews and investigative reporting.
- Write clear, compelling news stories on deadline.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Excellent writing, interviewing and research skills.
- Strong knowledge of AP style and journalistic ethics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Strong editorial experience, a plus.
