- Essential Functions
- Manage the company's efforts in obtaining ISO 9001 certification.
- Implement and manage the QMS (Quality Management System) and provide training to employees on QMS processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Serve as the internal auditor to compare information laid out in the QMS to the company's day-to-day operations.
- Provide recommendations in selecting a licensed registrar for an external audit.
- Draft and submit the ISO applicant contract.
- Lead efforts to resolve any minor nonconformities resulting from audits. Requirements
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, Quality Control, or in a Quality Consultant capacity (advanced degrees may be substituted).
- Experience with ISO 9001, including quality system certification.
- Experience conducting training to non-quality personnel on QMS.
- Experience as an internal auditor, including corrective actions. Desired Skills
- Experience with AS9100.
- Experience as a Quality Consultant, preferably for small companies.
- Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) a plus.
