We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Part-Time LVPN Nursing Instructor to join our team at Concorde Career Colleges in Jacksonville, FL. As a Nursing Instructor, you will be responsible for providing active and effective learning experiences for students in various educational settings, including classrooms, labs, clinical, and online environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach classes as assigned, including preparing lesson plans, course materials, and assessing student performance
- Create and maintain a conducive learning environment, promoting professionalism and academic excellence
- Provide regular feedback to students on their academic performance, grades, and conduct
- Utilize learning management systems and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in ongoing faculty and professional development activities to stay current with industry standards
- Collaborate with colleagues and program directors to ensure program effectiveness and student success
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN
- Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN and MSN strongly preferred
- Teaching experience preferred
- Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications
