Responsibilities
- Prepare and teach assigned medical assistant core curriculum courses
- Utilize best practices for teaching medical assisting and engage students to succeed
- Meet class times and assist students with questions related to the course
- Maintain safety practices in labs and support students' academic success
- Foster a flexible and healthy learning environment with respect for student diversity
Requirements
- Current and unencumbered Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or LPN/RN license
- At least one year of clinical experience in an outpatient healthcare setting within the last five years
- Experience teaching at a community college or providing training in a healthcare setting is desirable
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: $862.94/credit (Step 1) or $880.19/credit (Step 2) for lecture, and $1,403.83/credit (Step 1) or $1,431.91/credit (Step 2) for lab
