Work Schedule
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 2:40PM - 3:30 PM (Eastern time)
Wednesdays 2:15 PM - 3:00 PM (Eastern time)

Start date as soon as possible until 05/29/2025
Job Responsibilities
Β Create a safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
Β Be punctual, reliable and efficient to run an effective class.
Β Follow curriculum, set student's goals, motivate and guide students to provide an enjoyable learning experience.
Β Monitor student progress, advise students and provide feedback and support to students as required to meet student outcomes and course objectives.
Β Work effectively with students, teachers and parents to achieve course goals.
Β Provide feedback from classroom experience into curriculum development, instructional methods, objectives and philosophy.
Β Maintain an organized and clean classroom environment.
Β Work independently and be a self-starter.
Β Communicate via email and phone with us as needed.
Job Requirements
Β An associate or bachelorΒs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Programming or related field; other majors with background in coding and robotics are welcome to apply
Β Current associate or college students are encouraged to apply
Β Experience in FIRST Tech Challenge is preferred
Β Knowledge with one or more programming languages and robotics kits including Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C/C++, Scratch; LEGO robotics, RaspberryPi/Arduino.
Β Previous teaching or tutoring experience of the K-12 age group is preferred.
Β Very comfortable with technology and using computers.
Β Must be able to work with children and remain friendly, calm, and patient at all times.
Β Must be able to work in a classroom environment alongside teachers and/or independently.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 Β 5 per week
